Louisville, KY April 25, 2008 – Spalding Group, a principal supplier to the last six Republican Presidential campaigns and an official licensee to the 2000 and 2004 Bush-Cheney campaigns, is pleased to announce its selection by the 2008 Republican National Convention Host Committee as an authorized supplier, to state and county parties across the country, of products featuring the official logo of the 2008 Republican National Convention.
Spalding Group will be actively marketing products that bear the official logo of the 2008 Republican National Convention. Nationally, Republican state and county parties as well as GOP organizations and clubs will be a primary focus of Spalding Group’s marketing efforts.
“In the past, items with the convention logos have been, for the most part, only available to those actually in attendance at the convention. The selection of our company by the Host Committee will help greatly in the goal of getting more people involved and excited as we move from the convention into the general election,” stated Ted Jackson, founder of Spalding Group.

Kits will feature a variety of items bearing the official convention logo and will add to supporter enthusiasm. On this historic evening, Nomination Night party participants will join together in celebration of the official nomination of Senator John McCain. The convention itself provides an ideal opportunity to motivate the base as supporters prepare themselves to move into the general election cycle.
